RCCM’s B.A. Journalism and Mass Communication(BAJMC) course gives students a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of mass communications. This includes studying the analysis, production, strategic use and deployment of mass communications in a range of commercial and social contexts. A specific focus of this 3-year course is on digital and social media and how such media are transforming the social and business world. Students develop new skills in the production and manipulation of digital media, learn how media communication can be used strategically across different platforms, and how it can be understood and critically examined. Students engage in a substantial amount of creative work across a range of platforms and develop expertise in one or more of the key fields of mass communication. The degree uses a wide range of teaching approaches, including creative project-based learning, case studies, practical workshops, lectures, seminars, and tutorials. Students are encouraged to engage with industry.
Completion of 10+2 education level in any stream/discipline from any recognized Board with a minimum aggregate of 60%.
Admissions open for session 2024-25. The Institute holds the Minority status having the provision of campus Direct Admission. You can download the application form by providing your details and making payment of Rs. 500 after which you will receive the acceptance message from college. The application form needs to be submitted physically along with other required documents at the college campus.
The programme fee for B.A. Journalism and Mass Communication(BAJMC) 2024-25 is INR 37000. The fee includes tuition fees, course materials, and other service facilities such as a library, computer labs, etc.
